Position Overview - Solutions Consultant
Be the technical bridge between RegASK’s AI-powered regulatory platform and the customers who depend on it. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will partner with Account Executives across the full sales cycle, from discovery and demo to proof-of-concept and handover, ensuring prospects and customers understand exactly how RegASK solves their regulatory challenges. You will combine deep product knowledge, regulatory domain expertise, and a consultative mindset to translate complex requirements into compelling, tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own pre-sales technical engagement: Lead discovery calls, needs assessments, and solution design workshops with prospects and existing customers across APAC, EU, and North America
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations: Craft and present demo environments that map RegASK capabilities directly to each prospect’s regulatory workflows and pain points
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) execution: Scope, configure, and manage PoCs end-to-end; define success criteria and translate outcomes into business value narratives
- Translate technical complexity into business value: Act as the interpreter between RegASK’s engineering and the customer’s regulatory, IT, and procurement stakeholders
- Support RFP and RFI responses: Contribute accurate, compelling technical content to proposals, security questionnaires, and compliance documentation
- Build and maintain solution assets: Develop reusable demo scripts, solution briefs, integration guides, and FAQ libraries in collaboration with Product and Marketing
- Capture and champion customer requirements: Document prospect feedback and edge-case requirements; route structured insights to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap
- Enable the sales team: Coach Account Executives on product positioning, objection handling, and competitive differentiation; run internal enablement sessions on new releases
- Stay ahead of the regulatory landscape: Maintain working knowledge of key regulatory frameworks (FDA, EFSA, ASEAN, Health Canada, etc.) and how they intersect with RegASK’s product lines
- Partner on customer onboarding: Provide a smooth technical handover to Customer Success, ensuring implementation scoping and success plans are grounded in pre-sales commitments
Requirements
- 5-8 years’ experience in a Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Sales Engineering role within a B2B SaaS environment; experience in RegTech, life sciences, FMCG, or compliance software is a strong plus
- Proven ability to run end-to-end pre-sales cycles, from first call through signed contract, including complex enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills: able to demo to a regulatory scientist, a CIO, and a CFO in the same meeting and land the right message with each
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, comfortable designing solutions under ambiguous requirements and articulating trade-offs clearly
- Familiarity with enterprise technology concepts: APIs, SSO/SAML, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and data privacy standards (GDPR, PDPA)
- Empathy for regulatory professionals and genuine curiosity about the compliance domain – you enjoy learning how products get to market across different jurisdictions
- Collaborative by default: able to work asynchronously across time zones with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in Regulatory Affairs, Food Science, Life Sciences, or Chemistry
- Experience with CRM and pre-sales tooling (Salesforce, Gong, Consensus, or similar)
- Exposure to AI/ML product features and the ability to explain them in plain language
- Prior work in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
