About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Director who will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, shape RegASK's financial and operational strategy, and play a hands-on role in fundraising. This is a pivotal leadership role at a high-growth SaaS company. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technology finance, a strong network in venture, and the ability to build and lead a finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Finance Function Leadership

• Manage the finance team across accounting and FP&A.
• Oversee statutory compliance, tax planning, and treasury management across Singapore and US entities.
• Partner with the CEO, CPTO, and commercial leadership to support pricing, contract structure, and revenue recognition strategy.
• Drive operational efficiency through data-driven insights and process automation, leveraging AI-native financial tools.

Financial Strategy and Planning

• Define and execute RegASK's financial strategy aligned with the company's growth ambitions and SaaS scaling model.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning (P&L, cashflow, unit economics, SaaS metrics).
• Drive scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support Board and executive decision-making.
• Establish financial controls, governance frameworks, and appropriate reporting infrastructure.

Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary financial interface with current and prospective investors, board members, and financial institutions.
• Prepare and present Board-level financial reporting, investor updates, and strategic briefings.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, legal counsel, and external financial advisors.
• Support partnership due diligence and integration planning as needed.

Fundraising and Capital Strategy

• Lead end-to-end fundraising process, including investor targeting, pitch narrative, due diligence management, and term sheet negotiation.
• Update and own the financial model, investor materials (deck, data room, financial projections), and supporting documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with venture capital, growth equity, and strategic investors across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the US.
• Evaluate and execute alternative financing instruments including venture debt, convertible notes, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience at a technology or SaaS company.
• Direct, hands-on experience leading a fundraising process from preparation through close.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS business models, metrics, and financial reporting standards.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining investor relationships.
• Experience operating in a high-growth, global, multi-entity environment.
• Strong financial modelling and data storytelling skills; ability to translate complex data into board-level narratives.
