POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Vice President of Sales in the US to accelerate the revenue growth, build strategic sales plans and deliver on business objectives. This individual should have extensive business development experience focusing on driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Consumer Health, a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, and a good understanding of the regulated industry, in healthcare, life sciences, food, and consumer products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional team including product and customer success team to ensure alignment of goals and drive overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Business Development Strategy:
- Develop, implement and manage BD strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets across key markets
- Create actionable plans to drive revenue, market penetration and client acquisition
- Lead market research efforts to identify opportunities, trends and potential clients within target industries
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train and manage high-performing sales team
- Set clear objectives, performance metrics and development plans for each team member
- Foster a results-oriented, customer-first culture that promotes collaboration, motivation and accountability
- Revenue and Sales Performance Management:
- Own and manage the sales budget, forecasting and reporting processes
- Track and analyze sales metrics to ensure team meets or exceeds revenue targets
- Manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools ensuring timely follow up, nurturing and conversion of leads
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline status and business development activities providing regular updates to senior management, using CRM tools
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners
- Oversee the development and execution of client engagement and retention strategies
- Contract Negotiations:
- Lead contract negotiations with potential clients, ensuring terms are favourable for all stakeholders resulting in closing deals
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product, customer success and regulatory content team to ensure alignment between client needs and RegASK’s solutions
- Work with presales team to develop proposals to be sent to clients
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in the sales process, technology and team structure
- Stay informed on industry trends, sales technology and best practices to enhance sales operations
- Ensure team is leveraging on CRM and sales tools to maximize productivity and data accuracy
- Bachelor or equivalent degree required
- 15 years of business development or sales experience in Consumer Health industries with interest in SaaS
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
- Inspirational leader with a hands-on approach, skilled at building and motivating teams to achieve top performance
- Data driven approach to decision making and strategy development
- Experience with building relationships with stakeholders at different levels
- Deep commitment to customer success, satisfaction and experience
- Strong negotiation and deal closing abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Proficient in sales stack, Salesforce etc
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic start up environment
- Ability to work cross functionally with marketing, product and customer success team on a multi-cultural global basis
